About the piece: This composition combines the fluid structure of the rhapsody with motives inspired by the folk music of Southeast China. It depicts the charming scenery of this land, the cheerful atmosphere of local festival celebration, and people’s yearning for love and life. The piece was published and launched into the world market by BMG Japan in 1994. It was indicated as Classic of the Chinese Music of 20th Century.
